As a growing business, we understand that our impact on a wider group of stakeholders and the environment is evolving. Despite being a small company, Pure Recruitment Group recognises the implication of fostering ties with the community.

Our policy began from internal consultation, pooling ideas on the effect of our business and then taking action.

We have strived to provide a workplace that surpasses legal requirements and genuinely is a good place to work and develop individually. Our efforts have been recognised by our achievement of the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for accolades in 2008 and 2009.

We have an internal diversity policy as well as standard procedures for health and safety.

Clients and candidates receive the highest level of service which is documented in our methodology and processes:

  • High levels of service to be achieved every time by understanding individual needs
  • Each client and candidate given complete attention
  • Full transparency and feedback in the process
  • Be a value-adding service as opposed to a cost
  • Monitor performance and regulatory compliance comprehensively

Pure adhere to high levels of business service ethics, valuing the long-lasting relationships we create with our clients and candidates.

Environment

Environment

We attempt to minimise impact of our carbon footprint in a number of ways:

  • Continuing consultation and engagement with employees and environmental bodies on how to reduce impact
  • Educating employees in good environmental practices
  • Electronic copies of documents encouraged over printed copies
  • Directing more of our advertising budget towards online media, discouraging printed materials
  • Direct mail promotions sent by our marketing department are in transition towards fully electronic promotion - direct mail printed materials have been reduced by 90% in two years
  • All paper and plastics are recycled after they have been used for their required purposes
  • Energy saving measures in place to minimise unnecessary electricity usage- such as at night and at times of inactivity
  • Upgrade all electronic equipment to more energy-efficient models recently completed
  • Fully electronic timesheets utilised for our temporary professionals on placements - 100% of all timesheets recorded electronically
  • Implementing fully electronic invoicing procedures with our clients
  • Our state of the art building implements policies to minimise overall impact, including diverse recycling, energy saving and proactive energy monitoring

We strive to continually improve our policy on the environment, and are currently investigating further ways to improve our environmental impact.

Community

Community

Our work is driven by our employees and the company in equal measure, showing the strong commitment that is embedded in our culture. Fundraising efforts have doubled year on year for a number of good causes.
We have chosen The Children’s Society as our charity of the year and with our fundraising we help give disadvantaged children the childhood they deserve. We have outlined a strategy of fundraising and continue to conduct activities to reach our target. Our employees, as well as the Managing Directors, have contributed by raising funds through such events as the London Marathon and client fundraising events for a number of years.
