Adam
Akbar

Adam joined Pure in 2005. He is responsible for leading and expanding our finance search practice, specialising in the placement of Controllers, Directors and CFOs. He has spent his entire career working in the field of finance appointments, during which time he’s developed an exceptionally strong network of contacts.
Previously Adam worked as a Finance head-hunter for Alexander Mann executing specialised search assignments on behalf of recognised plcs and smaller organisations. Adam graduated in Economics & Management from Cardiff University.
Adam is a passionate football fan, an avid reader and a keen travel enthusiast.
Andrew
Refaussé

Andrew joined Pure in 2006. Andrew’s focus is across the finance community within the Financial Services sector. He specialises in executive searches for commercial finance and treasury positions within consumer and investment products, private banks and insurance companies.
Previously he spent eight years' in executive search, successfully delivering on financial assignments both in the UK and across the globe. Andrew graduated in Management Studies and Psychology from Leeds University.
Andrew is an enthusiastic footballer with a keen interest in writing and psychology.
Kate
Ingram

Kate joined Pure in 2007. She specialises in the placement of experienced Finance Controllers, Directors and CFOs within the IT, Technology & Telcos sectors.
Prior to joining Pure, Kate was responsible for developing the finance search capability of a large UK financial recruitment organisation. Kate graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
Kate was a national level swimmer in Canada and competed in the 1996 Canadian Olympic Trials.

Vanessa is our Head of Research. With over eight years’ experience in market mapping, candidate sourcing, headhunting, profiling and name generation in the market, Vanessa has worked both in a banking recruitment environment where she covered both front-office and legal projects and in an external research agency. She joined Pure in 2007.
