Our People
Paul
Murphy
London office
Paul works in the Commerce team and specialises in recruiting from Senior Manager to Head of Tax.
Since joining Pure in 2005, Paul has successfully recruited for a number of leading companies and has established relationships with companies within the FTSE 100, 250 and overseas multinationals.
Paul trained in tax at KPMG in London and followed this with an in-house tax role at Reckitt Benkiser plc, before joining Pure. He read Law at Hull University.
Dalia
Jennings

Dalia heads up the interim team at Pure Recruitment and has worked there since 2004. She recruits primarily at Senior Manager and Head of Tax level across commerce and industry and financial services.
Dalia graduated with a law degree from Birmingham University. She then gained over three years’ experience working for a global recruitment company, specialising in interim tax and legal recruitment.
In her spare time, Dalia enjoys travelling the world and fine dining.
Ian
Addison-Smith
London office
Ian co-heads our Actuarial & Risk practice across all functions with a specialism in Pensions & Investments. He works closely with market leading consultancies, banks, asset managers (including fiduciary managers) and corporate clients. His focus encompasses both UK and International search and selection mandates for senior and mid level actuaries.
He has an extensive network in this space and a track record of consistent delivery across a range of search assignments.
Prior to joining Pure, Ian worked for a boutique search firm where he managed the UK Pensions & Investments Actuarial team. Before this he spent a period of time with a clinical research group in a statistical analysis capacity. Ian holds a Masters (with Distinction) in Applied Linguistics from the University of Nottingham and First Class BA (Hons) degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Liverpool.
Ian watches more football than he plays and is a beginner rock climber. He is a keen acoustic guitarist with a particular passion for flamenco music.
Nick

Nick holds a Masters degree, is an experienced search consultant and a specialist at delivering senior finance mandates across the media, technology, entertainment and telcos space internationally.
His client base spans multi-national corporations, as well as publicly listed and privately owned companies. He also has a strong track record in private equity and venture capital, hiring executives for portfolio businesses within the TMT sectors. Nick previously worked for a leading International firm specialising in senior finance appointments.
