Responsibilities
As a Financial Services Tax Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting financial services businesses in optimising their tax positions, managing risk, and meeting compliance requirements across UK and international tax structuring as well as operational tax matters.
Working closely with large and complex financial institutions, gaining significant client exposure.
Providing UK and international tax advisory and compliance services.
Developing a commercial understanding of various financial institutions, their business lines, products, and global operations.
Managing a diverse client portfolio.
Strengthening existing relationships both within and outside the firm.
Accessing training and development opportunities to enhance technical and commercial expertise.
Experience
Candidates should have a professional qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and experience in UK tax.
Preferred skills include:
Interest in or experience working with financial services businesses.
Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client delivery.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Experience in tax compliance with exposure to advisory work.
Flexibility to balance multiple client commitments and meet deadlines.
