Is currently hiring for a Compliance Manager for a European Private Bank. JD below, prior experience in HKMA and SFC licensing and ability to read and write Chinese is a must. Budget is 50-70k/mth + bonus.
The role entails conducting risk assessments and thematic reviews on key regulatory topics. It involves handling staff licensing processes and regulatory reporting/notification related to staff competency assessment. The position also involves conducting compliance reviews as the second line of defense, including the review of Market Abuse & Insider Detection alerts closed by Group Compliance. Additionally, the role assists in regulatory inquiries/requests and handles client complaint cases, including investigations and report preparation. The individual will also participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned. The role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to conduct thorough reviews and investigations while ensuring compliance.
