Conflicts Supervisor

Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee and manage the conflict check process for new and ongoing client matters. You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing conflict reports to identify potential issues and ensuring compliance with firm policies. Collaboration with lawyers, business teams, and compliance departments will be key in resolving conflicts of interest. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date records of conflict resolutions, provide guidance and training to junior staff, and help develop best practices for conflict management. Throughout, you will ensure all conflict-related issues are handled with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Experience

I am seeking someone with a background in law, with at least 5 years of experience. Ideally, this would include some managerial experience, but we are open to candidates looking to step into a more senior role. Previous experience in a legal or compliance environment, particularly in conflict resolution, is essential.
