Content & Engagement Lead – Financial Services
Our client, a high‑growth global financial services business is seeking a strategic, creative and commercially minded Content & Engagement Manager to shape how it engages clients, prospects and partners across M&A, Private Equity and capital-driven markets.
This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to build and influence engagement strategy from day one. You will bring original thinking, challenge conventional approaches and design smarter, more compelling ways to reach sophisticated audiences.

You’ll need experience in B2B Financial Services marketing with strong experience in content marketing and content strategy. Experience within the private equity and/or M&A space is preferred
What the role involves
- Developing strategic, insight-led engagement plans that elevate market presence and support commercial growth.
- Introducing fresh ideas and creative approaches, including new formats and innovative ways to engage high‑value audiences.
- Leading targeted outreach using CRM and automation tools, ensuring activity aligns with a clear strategic framework.
- Producing sharp, high-impact content: insights, reports, articles, thought leadership and announcements.
- Using data, testing and audience insight to continuously refine and optimise engagement.
- Managing and enhancing digital content hubs to ensure messaging remains relevant and commercially aligned.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to shape long-term content and engagement direction.
What you will bring
- A strategic mindset — capable of shaping direction and thinking beyond day-to-day execution.
- A creative approach to content— confident generating new ideas, narratives and engagement concepts.
- Solid experience in content, engagement or marketing roles gained in a B2B Financial Services environment is essential.
- Understanding or experience of the M&A / Private Equity environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Insurance market is an advantage but is not required
- Strong CRM/automation experience (ideally Salesforce)-ability to maximise the effectiveness of CRM tools for content and engagement purposes.
- Ability to analyse data and translate findings into action.
- Exceptional commercial storytelling skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
