Financial Services – Asset Management Tax Director – Top 10 firm

This is an exciting opportunity for a Director or experienced Senior Manager within Asset Management Tax to lead client relationships, shape strategic tax solutions, and drive business development in a busy and growing environment. Within this role, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
 

  • Developing and managing relationships with clients, offering tailored tax and advisory solutions
  • Leading complex client portfolios, ensuring strategic and technical advice aligns with their specific needs
  • Providing expert guidance on transactions, tax structuring, and compliance matters
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contributing to strategic growth and market presence
  • Overseeing reports and key transaction documents, ensuring clarity and technical accuracy
  • Acting as a mentor to more junior staff, fostering professional development and talent growth
  • Maintaining a strong commercial awareness, ensuring financial targets, compliance, and risk management align with company objectives
  • Ensuring quality control, risk management, and adherence to internal policies

To apply, ideally you will be or be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Degree educated with relevant qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)
  • Extensive experience in business tax services within asset management and related sectors
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven experience managing teams and developing talent
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills, with a track record in business development
  • Ability to provide high-level strategic and technical advice tailored to client needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
