Our client is seeking a Senior Operations Leader to join their global leadership team. In this newly created role, you will collaborate closely with the Global Managing Director of Business Operations to ensure exceptional service delivery across all business functions in their London and European offices.

In simple terms, here are some of the responsibilities:

  • Regional Operations Management: Direct operations and client service across multiple offices, collaborating with global and local leaders.
  • Team and Project Leadership: Manage subordinate managers, lead strategic planning and implementation, and oversee regional projects.
  • Facilities and Vendor Relations: Negotiate property and supplier agreements, manage construction and facilities, and maintain landlord relationships.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure policy compliance, improve system-wide practices, and oversee regional teams to meet firm objectives.
  • Talent and Financial Management: Lead hiring and integration of support roles, manage regional budgets, and support firm’s expense management.

Ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or management.
  • Extensive business operations and management experience.
  • Relevant industry background in project management.
  • Strategic oversight of multi-jurisdictional teams.
  • Leadership in professional services or legal sectors.

Desired Experience

Excellent leadership and organizational abilities; • First-class people skills and ability to motivate office support staff to achieve efficient and effective operations; • Knowledge of operational guidelines including current local and national labor and employment laws, generally accepted human resources practices; • Extensive knowledge in project management and process implementation skills; • Ability to manage multi-jurisdictional administrative department operations, including identifying and solving complex problems; • Ability to analyze, review and prepare financial reports and budgets; • Ability to effectively interact with multiple firm departments, partners, attorneys, directors, firm administrators and administrative personnel in a positive and team-oriented manner; • Ability to identify, implement and maintain effective partnerships with approved vendors to provide the optimal level of services to the firm; • Ability to understand, interpret and implement approved firm practices and procedures with business based logic and judgment; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver effective presentations; • Ability to manage complex projects and initiatives; • Ability to effectively manage and allocate office space and facilities, including construction projects. • Ability to review and negotiate key property, vendor and supplier agreements. QUALIFICATIONS  Bachelor Degree in business administration, finance, or management (preferred)
