Position Overview
You will serve as a trusted adviser on international indirect taxation matters (excluding the US), focusing on strategic advisory, project management, and overseeing compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Address complex technical tax inquiries across various business lines, including reviewing agreements, assessing new product launches, and market entries.
- Lead enhancements in tax reporting procedures by optimizing system functionality, ensuring data accuracy, streamlining workflows, and utilizing shared resources.
- Oversee tax aspects in finance and IT projects, such as system upgrades and tax software evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A teams to ensure that changes in business operations and legislation are communicated effectively in regard to tax impacts.
- Participate in monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciling key accounts.
- Stay informed on indirect tax changes globally and assess their potential business impacts.
- Assist the tax department in executing international tax strategies and driving expansion in global markets.
- Conduct monthly reviews of VAT registration obligations for digital services and manage any related provisions.
- Handle various ad hoc projects as needed.
