Interim Indirect Tax Manager

I am working with an international investment manager, who are looking for an interim indirect tax manager to join the team for 3 months, to manage the company's indirect tax advisory. 

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced VAT manager to join for a 3  month contract. The role is fully VAT advisory and the manager will be responsible for:
  • providing indirect tax support to the business, advise on new business proposals, projects, and organisational changes.
  • manage queries from HMRC and other tax authorities on all indirect tax related issues.
  • ensure any changes in legislation are incorporated into the business and relevant stakeholders advised.

Desired Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
  • strong VAT knowledge, with experience providing indirect tax advice to commercial stakeholders.
  • previous experience of working in a partially exempt business, experience of working in financial services industry is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Location

City of London, hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office
