Our client, a property Group with a strong presence across Europe, is actively seeking a Tax Accountant to join the organisation on a maternity cover for 12+ months. This role is well suited to a corporate tax specialist.
Reporting into the Group Head of Tax, you will be responsible for:
- Complete and submit tax filings, including corporation tax, VAT, benefits, and share schemes.
- Collaborate with advisors across different territories and manage department costs effectively.
- Understand the business to identify tax risks and opportunities.
- Forecast potential tax exposures.
- Prepare accounts notes for all territories, including during consolidation.
- Correspond with HMRC.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
This role is based in Hertfordshire.
