I’m currently supporting a listed, internationally operating business that is looking to hire an International Tax Manager into its growing Group Tax function.
The role sits within a collaborative team of circa 10 tax professionals, working closely with stakeholders across tax, treasury, finance, legal and operations. It offers a unique platform for an ambitious international tax professional to make a significant impact within a large, complex global group. The role provides exposure to high‑value cross‑border tax projects and the opportunity to influence the organisation’s corporate structure, financing arrangements and future tax profile.
As a International Tax Manager, you will:
- Lead complex international restructuring initiatives, including legal entity rationalisations and post‑acquisition integrations, shaping the group’s global operating model.
- Own multi‑million‑pound projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders across tax, legal, accounting, company secretarial and treasury.
- Act as a strategic advisor on cross‑border transactions, directly influencing cash tax outcomes and the effective tax rate.
- Help to drive the organisation’s Pillar Two programme, becoming a recognised subject matter expert across jurisdictions.
- Manage pan‑European international tax matters, including compliance coordination and work with Big 4 advisors.
- Oversee key UK tax governance areas, including the Controlled Foreign Company regime and withholding tax processes across a large intercompany loan portfolio.
- Deliver major international debt rationalisation projects, coordinating external advisors and internal cross‑functional teams across multiple European jurisdictions.
