Unique opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a FTSE organisation in the consumer industry for 6-months (potential for temporary to permanent). This is well suited to a true business partner to manage multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland and part of Europe.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for (not limited to):- Provide regional tax advice for UK, Ireland and (some) European markets.
- Review and sign off of local compliance and reporting responsibilities (outsourced).
- Liaise with tax authorities, ensuring adherence to global laws and regulations.
- Drive tax optimisation and leverage technology
- Identify tax risks, and implementation/maintenance of internal controls
Experience
- CA/CTA or similar tax qualification
- Strong communicator, attention to detail and natural curiosity for continuous improvements.
