Pure Search has exclusively partnered with a UK-headquartered business looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to look after the MENA region in Dubai or Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end direct tax compliance and reporting obligations for entities across the MENA region.
- Partner with regional colleagues in finance, legal, commercial, and other areas to ensure alignment, clarity, and smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives.
- Support global tax initiatives such as cash tax forecasting, cross-jurisdiction reporting requirements, and broader policy alignment.
- Develop, refine, and maintain transfer pricing frameworks and related documentation, working alongside external advisers where appropriate.
- Identify, manage, and enhance opportunities related to incentives or credit claims, including R&D-related submissions across relevant jurisdictions.
- Provide tax input on strategic and operational projects—such as market entry, restructuring, or product launches—on an as-needed basis.
- Contribute to process-improvement efforts, including automation and system enhancements that improve accuracy and efficiency.
Experience & Attributes
- Professional tax or accounting qualification.
- Significant hands-on experience (8+ years) managing tax matters within a global organisation.
- Strong command of corporate and international tax principles.
- Comfortable managing shifting priorities and working in an evolving environment.
- Dubai or Singapore based
