M&A Tax Consultant (3 months)

3 month role to support this PLC with acquisitions and legal entity rationalisations.

The Head of Tax requires a Senior Manager/ Director level consultant with an international advisory background who can start immediately to get their arms around some significant transactions for the group. 

Broader responsibilities could include:
 

• M&A
• Supporting other business-led initiatives
• External and internal financing
• Legal entity rationalisation
• Tax authority audits and enquiries
• Pillar 2
• CFCs
• Managing permanent establishment issues and flexible working policy matters
• Cross-border payments, withholding tax, etc
• Supporting tax implications of external contracts with suppliers etc
• Working closely with our tax reporting, transfer pricing and indirect tax/duty teams
• Supporting half year and year end audits
• Supporting the Group Head of Tax on the development and maintenance of Group tax strategy
• Managing relevant adviser relationships, fees and budgets
• Working closely with colleagues in Finance, Treasury, Legal, and operational areas

They have central London offices, but take a very flexible approach to hybrid working.
