You would work closely with the Deals/Investment Team to ensure private debt investments are properly funded, recorded, monitored, and reported throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Fund and settle private debt investments/loans and manage cash liquidity across the funds.
- Maintain loan records in Wall Street Office (WSO), including amendments, waivers, corporate actions, positions, and trades.
- Perform cash and position reconciliations on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Work with Treasury on subscription lines, leverage facilities, and borrowing base calculations used to finance investments.
- Support fund accounting with monthly and quarterly NAV closes.
- Conduct portfolio analysis, including asset-level returns (IRRs and MoMs) and compliance monitoring.
- Support the launch and onboarding of new funds and broader operational improvement projects.
A large part of the role would involve:
- Coordinating the funding of loans and investments once the deals team has agreed a transaction.
- Ensuring sufficient cash is available and borrowings are correctly calculated.
- Tracking loans throughout their life, including amendments and repayments.
- Acting as a key operational contact for the investment professionals, fund accountants, treasury team, and external counterparties.
