The Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Financial Services Tax team in London. This team delivers a wide range of tax and consulting services to companies across the financial services sector.
You will play a key role in building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional business tax advice, and identifying opportunities and risks. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to lead complex projects and contribute to the growth of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Financial Services clients, handling complex advisory and compliance cases.
- Undertake corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work.
- Engage in diverse business tax work, including ad-hoc advisory, international tax matters, R&D tax credits, and awareness of VAT/employment tax aspects.
- Support transactional and due diligence projects.
- Act as a trusted adviser on commercial and strategic issues.
- Lead client relationship management and deliver exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities within your portfolio and drive business development.
- Develop specialist technical or sector expertise.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant and/or tax adviser (ACA / CTA).
- Significant corporate tax experience within practice or industry.
- Strong technical capability and ability to manage complex client work.
- Proven experience managing people and client relationships.
- Business development skills and appetite for growth.
- Project management experience.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
