Senior VAT Manager

The role will focus on providing specialised VAT expertise to optimise invoice payment processes, particularly around invoice management. This person will be key to driving improvements, streamlining VAT considerations, and deliver benefits across the organisation, contributing to overall VAT strategy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Playing a key role in planning, real-time coordination, and communication for projects focused on enhancing invoice processing efficiency.
• Leveraging expertise to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and shape strategies, providing critical insights to drive project implementation decisions.
• Collaborating closely with tax, finance, business, and tech teams, producing clear and comprehensive documentation to support analyses, decisions, and outcomes.
• Delivering impactful communication and built strong relationships to influence cross-functional partner teams effectively.
• Supporting engagements with external advisors, ensuring alignment and successful execution of project goals.

Desired Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 7 years of specialised VAT experience spanning Big 4 accounting firms, law firms, or in-house tax roles, complemented by a strong educational background.
• Proficient in English with a recognised professional tax qualification, chartered accountancy certification, or relevant legal degree.
• Extensive international VAT expertise across both practice and industry settings, delivering strategic tax solutions in complex global environments.

Central London. This role is hybrid, with 3 working days in office.
