Pure Search are partnered with a global Telecoms company looking to hire a Tax Manager in their London based team.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the preparation and consolidation of fiscal disclosures, ensuring alignment with regulatory reporting obligations.
Supporting strategic tax initiatives across various corporate entities and investment structures.
Ensuring adherence to tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, including oversight of filings and remittances in regions such as Mauritius, the UK, and the UAE.
Handling regulatory queries and coordinating responses to inspections and information requests from tax bodies.
Spearheading enhancements in tax-related systems and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability of data output.
Conducting assessments of potential ventures from a tax risk and compliance perspective, with findings communicated to executive leadership.
Evaluating the tax implications embedded within financial forecasts and exploring structuring strategies to enhance outcomes.
Driving the rollout of tax governance frameworks in newly established operational territories.
Collaborating with finance teams to incorporate tax insights into external reporting, ensuring adherence to global accounting standards like IFRS.
Designing and refining internal processes to strengthen the integrity and visibility of tax reporting mechanisms.

The role is based in London 3 days per week and is paying up to £75,000 + 20% bonus
Experience
Holds a university-level qualification complemented by a recognised professional certification (e.g. Chartered Accountant, Chartered Management Accountant, or Certified Tax Professional).
Possesses over three years of experience in finance or tax-related roles within corporate or advisory environments.
Demonstrated expertise in complex tax projects, financial reporting in line with IFRS, and cross-border tax compliance.
Background includes work with a leading professional services firm or the in-house finance/tax department of a publicly listed organisation.
Well-versed in multiple tax domains including corporate taxation, indirect tax (VAT/GST), transfer pricing, and international withholding obligations.
