Senior Associate – Tax (5+ Years PQE)

Location: London

This is a new to market role within this city law firm’s tax team.  The four partner team is actively looking for a Senior Associate with at least five years PQE in a client facing, fee earning role in a law firm.

Role Overview: This is a new opportunity with a well known city law firm’s tax team. They are seeking a Senior Associate with a minimum of five years PQE to join this client-focused practice. This role will be instrumental in providing expert tax advice and support on a range of complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will advise on the tax aspects of:

• Structured real estate transactions

• M&A, joint venture, and other corporate transactions

• Hedge and debt funds, real estate, and other asset classes

• International tax structures and cross-border transactions

• Structured finance and capital markets

• Insolvency and restructuring

• Relevant VAT and indirect tax issues

Candidate Requirements: To apply, you must:

• Be an England and Wales qualified lawyer (or have the appropriate qualification to practice in the UK or a common law jurisdiction)

• Have at least five years PQE in a client-facing, fee-earning role within a law firm

• Possess substantial experience in structuring and transactions both within the UK and internationally
