VAT Analyst

The role will sit in the European VAT Compliance team, assisting in the company's international VAT compliance. 

Responsibilities

The analyst will be involved in:

• Prepare and submit European VAT returns and related filings.
• Manage FASS5 and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Submit Intrastat returns as needed.
• Support VAT registrations across jurisdictions.
• Address VAT compliance queries from Amazon businesses in Europe.
• Identify improvements in VAT processes and resolve issues.
• Review month-end VAT account reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including data analysis.
• Provide VAT compliance support to colleagues, especially in accounting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as required.

Desired Experience

Previous experience with VAT compliance, particularly international VAT
Strong excel skills
 

Location

The office is in central London and the role is hybrid, 3 days a week in the office.
