We are working with an international asset manager seeking an Advisory Indirect Tax Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Tax, you’ll have the autonomy to work independently in a hands-off environment. While the focus is on advisory work, there will also be some compliance responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with FS experience looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
- Oversee VAT compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
- Provide strategic VAT advice on transactions, contracts, and business initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate VAT risks, implementing best practices and controls.
- Support and manage VAT audits and queries from tax authorities.
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance VAT processes and efficiencies.
Experience
VAT experience, ideally within financial services.
- Strong understanding of VAT legislation and its application to investment management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
