VAT Manager (FS Inhouse)

We are working with an international asset manager seeking an Advisory Indirect Tax Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Tax, you’ll have the autonomy to work independently in a hands-off environment. While the focus is on advisory work, there will also be some compliance responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with FS experience looking for a new challenge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VAT compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
• Provide strategic VAT advice on transactions, contracts, and business initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate VAT risks, implementing best practices and controls.
• Support and manage VAT audits and queries from tax authorities.
• Work closely with internal teams to enhance VAT processes and efficiencies.

Desired Experience

• VAT experience, ideally within financial services.

• Strong understanding of VAT legislation and its application to investment management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
