The UK alternatives asset management industry is of vital importance to the wider economy, potentially now more than ever as the country seeks to recover from the economic impact of lockdown.

As the end of the Brexit transition period approaches, it is key that the industry has a united position not only on what the ongoing relationship with Europe should be, but also how the United Kingdom can make itself even more attractive to alternatives asset managers, their funds and investors in them.

In conjunction with Travers Smith LLP and led by funds partner Will Normand alongside other partners from the Travers Smith asset management team, this webinar will explore the range of options of what the UK/EU financial services relationship could be in the future and, in particular, what that will mean for alternatives asset managers. We will also explore the steps that the UK can, and should, take in order to maintain its leading position as a hub for the industry.
