Chris is a Director in our Legal team, placing senior in-house lawyers with a focus on sports, media, and entertainment.
Before joining Pure, Chris spent 15 years at a leading international recruitment firm, where he built and led the In-House Legal division in London. During this time, he developed a strong reputation in the sports, media and entertainment sectors, partnering with high-profile clients including major rightsholders, football clubs, broadcasters, and institutional investors and private capital firms with interests in those areas.
Chris plays a key role in Pure’s global legal team, working alongside colleagues in New York and Hong Kong to provide clients with a connected, consultative service across jurisdictions. Known for his transparent and relationship-driven approach, Chris is committed to delivering a thorough and personalised service. He takes pride in being a true expert in his market and in building long-term partnerships based on trust.
Chris is a proud father of two young kids and a pet tortoise, Dave. He enjoys spending his free time watching (and occasionally attempting to play) various sports, experimenting in the kitchen, and obsessing over his garden lawncare regime. His specialist Mastermind subject would be the history of Leyton Orient Football Club.
