Ewen Burns

Outside of developing the company from a London specialist tax boutique, Ewen has gained a deep understanding of the tax and recruitment industry throughout his years.

Before starting his journey in recruitment, he joined KPMG. For four years, he trained and qualified in tax before moving to London.

Ewen’s deep understanding of the markets is what drove him to Pure, and he gets to put his expertise to good use in areas we specialise in. His delivering on many of the high-profile moves in the industry over the last twenty years isn’t the only thing he is known for. 

He has a standing reputation for forging strong relationships by partnering with clients and candidates alike. They trust him to support and advise them on their way to fulfilling their aspirations.

His drive, determination, and down-to-earth nature set him apart. Ewen believes that deep connections and a strong and reliable network are more important than ever.

Having been born and brought up in Scotland, Ewen attended university in Edinburgh. 

Being a doting father of two, it’s a good thing he is also a sportsman. The majority of his young years he spent on the tennis court. Now, outside of being active in the business and its growth, he also competed in multiple Ironmans and road races on his bike.
