Josh Carey

Having started his career at Grant Thornton Sydney as a Tax Accountant, Josh switched to recruitment over three years ago and hasn’t looked back. He utilises his previous experience to ensure Tax candidates and clients have the best hiring experience possible, earning himself repeat business with his expertise.

Josh has worked with Banks, Insurance businesses, Fintechs, Asset Managers, Fund Managers and more and understands the nuances required to operate within the Financial Services space. Since joining Pure Search in January 2024, he has helped multiple candidates find their next meaningful career move.

Josh attended the University of Technology Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting. He is also a member of The Tax Institute of Australia. Outside of work, he loves to travel and learn languages (particularly of the countries he is visiting) and is at a conversational level in Japanese.
