It’s 6 years since we first conducted a review of the head of tax’s world. Every year since, we have asked the peer group about their pressure points, their skill gaps and their remuneration – all with the intention of providing an authoritative and insightful overview for the head of tax community.

When planning our 2020 edition, none of us could have anticipated the monumental changes that the year would bring. With that in mind, we adapted our survey and focussed on the group’s response to Covid-19.

Our report discusses how current priorities have changed in light of the global pandemic, what affect this market has had on remuneration for heads of tax, and how attitudes towards remote working have evolved in the short space of time since the working world changed almost beyond recognition.
