Pure partners with Dartmouth Partners

International search and selection firm Pure announced last week that they have partnered with UK based recruitment firm Dartmouth Partners. The partnership is backed by private investment fund Literacy Capital, chaired by former Capita plc CEO Paul Pindar.  Literacy Capital invested in Dartmouth Partners in June 2018 to support Dartmouth expand its proposition and footprint.

Dartmouth’s founder Logan Naidu assumes the post of Group CEO, responsible for the continued growth of the two businesses.

Both Pure and Dartmouth have enjoyed significant success in recent years, with Pure opening offices in Germany and the US (in addition to its offices in the UK and Asia) and Dartmouth announcing growth of more than 30% year-on-year.

The firms are said to be an excellent match for their complementary service lines which combined mean that the two offer a far broader market coverage across corporate governance.

Chris Nelson, co-founder of Pure, comments “Pure has been my passion for 20 years and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in that time. I’m very grateful for the trust and loyalty our clients and candidates have shown us. Without our teams across the world Charles [Ferguson – Pure’s other co-founder] and I wouldn’t have been able to build a business as enjoyable or successful; Pure people are special and I’d like to thank everyone who’s been on the journey with us over the last two decades.

Finding a partner and investor to ensure that our legacy not only continues but thrives was incredibly difficult but in Logan and Paul we found the ideal match. They share our belief in developing and nurturing long-term partnerships with our clients and relationships with our candidates and have established themselves at the quality end of the recruitment market.

I look forward to working with Logan and his team to integrate and grow the two businesses into a formidable force in the staffing industry. My people can develop and accelerate their careers with Dartmouth’s leading L&D program, Paul’s investment, and on the impressive platform the combined businesses provide.”

Comments Charles Ferguson “For me the most important aspect of this merger is to ensure that the people working at Pure continue to have an amazing experience working with the best clients and learning their trade. Those opportunities have now been secured and enhanced and I look forward to seeing many of my colleagues achieve and exceed their ambitions. Over the 20 years since we started Pure I have seen many people grow and establish first class reputations in our industry. I am proud of all of them and their achievements.”
